My board on Beautiful Book Covers
http://pinterest.com/luvtapin/books-book-covers-beautiful/ I will admit a book cover can make or break me reading a book.
Sometimes I find you cannot judge a book by the cover though and a lot of the time you can read a book with a cover you do not like it, but it is a great story.
Still I love pretty covers and- though I would not want to tear up a book to get it- I would put some covers on my wall as art.
Pinterest is wonderful for this. I can pin lovely covers and keep them in this manner without ruining books. Also, as mentioned; some books do not live up to their covers, so this is also a way to have the cover without feeling the need to read the book when you know it is not your type of genre.
If anyone would like to share more book covers to add to my board, please do. I need more. This gives you an idea what kind I like.

What a lovely idea! I love the art in book covers. I may have a book or two from Canadian authors and colleagues I know. How would I get that pic to you? Whispering Insights.

I would love that. I could probably visit and pin from your blog if you and the authors do not care. Or pin from good reads if the books are on there. Let me know. I will come visit anyway either way.

Hi Blue Ribbon Fair: First congrats on your nomination and your great book covers post. I wrote a post about the current trend of book covers featuring women’s backs in a recent edition of Books Now! – so feel free to have a look. Pinterest is a great opportunity for bloggers: unfortunately, I’m not that tech savvy and my boards always look dismal and I can never get the number of pins in that I want – I obviously need to practice!

I will have to check this post out. Funny on pinterest. this morning in frustration I deleted about 80 boards because I could not get the boards arranged the way I wanted with the new system. I kept my boards that have hands on diy stuff and because of my book cover post on here, kept that board. Ever since they changed that site, I have not liked how my boards look and cannot find what I am looking for. When you drop and drag them it goes onto the board and you have to go back and start over. It wears me out. So I got rid of a bunch of boards and am planning to start over anew adding them one by one how I want them. It also was so much easier to arrange the 30 or so DIY with just them left. You are not the only one that cannot get that thing to work. Thanks so much for commenting and visiting.
