I took other shell pictures since I had a lot more.  The pictures were far to rushed today and my desktop is such a pain to get the pictures to upload or down load. I get confused what is what. I decided not to go do them over again since I must get to work. I will be glad to get my easy do pictures laptop back soon.

Have you taken a balloon ride? Nice photos!

No I haven’t, but grew up going to a balloon stampede every year. I always thought I might like to go in one, but was also rather wary, which many people might be in the “in between mood” with this. What about you?

        • Amy 10:04 pm on August 3, 2014 Permalink

          No, I haven’t. I don’t know if I’ll get a chance… 🙂

I probably never will either. Nothing like that where I live now.

Word Press seems to have made some changes on here and it has completely thrown me for a loop. I think it will be better to work with, but need to get used to it.

The World's Most Beautiful Canal Cities- A photo blog and list discovered as I weekend wandered among Blogs.

I know I fit in a one of a kind mold, but when I saw these travel images of canal cities- (Venice is not here This I am glad of.)- I actually had tears because I wanted to go there. So beautiful, I really love the one in the Netherlands.

    International Bellhop Travel Magazine

Most Beautiful Canal Cities of the World

In ancient times, the most efficient roadways through cities were made of canals that would allow easy transport of goods between shops, homes, and shipping centers. While these were long-ago the most efficient mode of transport through cities, it also became quickly adored by residents for the beauty and uniqueness that they add to the overall feel of the cities they serve. While the canals are not as necessary for travel today as they once were, the canals still offer beauty and character to the cities that they grace. Of all of the Canal Cities of the World, here are our favorites:

    All that Glitters….Great glitter Projects

While looking over craft projects on Pinterest I found some beautiful glitter ideas. These beautiful ideas and finished projects really caught my eye because I have just put my craft room together and had thought I really needed to use up some of my glitter. I know that glitter is more of a winter medium, but I do not want to wait for short days to try some of these.

I do love glittering things, they’re dreamy and very girlish. I have many colors of glittering nail polishs, so many that I do not have time to use all of them 😦

I know what you are saying with the nail polish. I almost posted one section telling how to make glitter nail polish. I left off without it since my mind had had enough doing my blog.

Chocolate dipped watermelon with salt #sogood #summer

Watermelon and chocolate. I really want to try this. I will have to get some watermelon this weekend. It just seemed to hit me as a craving just now after reading and seeing it.

Taylor Rae Luster- Flights of Fancy

This was a great idea I found on pinterest. It is super yummy and healthy to boot!

    image

    Chocolate watermelon with salt!

    You will need :
Unsweetened bakers chocolate (or chocolate chips so long as they are Unsweetened – the watermelon is sweet enough)
    Watermelon
    Salt
    Lots of plates /napkins!

First cut your watermelon if it is not already cut.

    image

Then start melting your chocolate squares in a small skillet over medium-low heat. Stir often. Do this until completely melted.

    image

Pour some salt onto a plate for easier pinching. I liked sea salt but others have said that regular salt was less salty so it’s up to you.

    image

Once done, take a spoon and drizzle the chocolate over a slice of watermelon. Then pinch a bit of salt and sprinkle over the top. The sweeter the watermelon, the more salt you should use.

    And enjoy!
Keep in mind that while this…

Thanks so much for the comment. I am so sorry, I just now found it. I have been doing this blog for over a year and still get overwhelmed and lost in what I am doing. Today I am trying to put a image widget on and it will not work. Giving up for awhile after an hour. I think it is way more simple than I am making it. Maybe since I can actually do video, (which I could not where I lived prior) I can watch and learn now easier.
