Here are some highlights from this August  that spiced up my life:

I also did hand milled soap from here. Soon I plan to make shampoo and dish soap with the liquid castile.

Wednesday Wandering into WP Weekly Photo Challenge

A question for all my followers that may see this small blurp: Do I need to sign up for Instagram ? How important is Instagram and do you recommend it? I keep seeing it more and more like it is growing like Pinterest in popularity? I really need to explore it since I have no clue about it at all.

what did i do this weekend?

This sounded so good to me, I had to share it. I also want to make it myself soon. Chocolate Ice Milk, Chocolate custard , talk of brownies with coconut. My “sweet tooth” is at high alert!

As little as possible, besides scouring 2 web sites for clues on what to send my two swap mates, and pawing through all my stashes to see what made me think of which new mate.  Fun? You betcha!

Besides the obligatory washing, cleaning, cooking, etc., I also tried me hand at making ice milk.  Ice milk?, you ask.  That was the thing back in the … whenever it was that Americans started getting paranoid about the cream in their milk.

All store-bought ice cream, frozen yogurt, & gelato is waaay too sweet for me, and I’ve been hunting for recipes.  Finally saw this on Jessica’s blog and thought I’d give it a try.
