I have one coloring book, but have been wary of starting. Intimidated, I guess.

You’ll get to it. Just perhaps do a small bit at a time. I get intimidated by many things like this also. I wish you the best and I am sure you will make the best designs all your own. If it is experiences of the past you can get past them; You are awesome.

Wow nice! I have two of the “adult” coloring books and some want for younger kids. It can be very relaxing coloring them. I seem to lose myself and lose track of time but sometimes, that’s what someone needs.

Thank you. I wore out coloring books years back I believe I got on “Current” It is cool they are everywhere now for adults. Even “Dollar Tree” has some nice ones.

You just know my coloring book is about the sea. 🙂 I’ve been too busy to use it after the holidays were over but I really like these ‘adult’ coloring books.

My thesis is around colouring books and rumination. I like your post. I’d be interested to know more detail about what it is specifically, about the colouring, that calms you. ☺

Well creativity and doing art has always been calming for me even when working rather quickly. Coloring is just a relaxing activity. It is something to do laid back at the end of the day on my couch and watch a movie or such. It is also that I like bright colors and most crayons are really colorful. Colors make me happy. I love colors and crayons so much I chose a challenge on a book site which was choosing books which fit with crayola diverse colors and names to complete. the group has a lot of challenges, but this is the first one I decided to sign on for. Memories of coloring with my kids when they were little and coloring when I was young and having my mom encourage me and hang my “artwork” on the wall. these are cozy memories. It is relaxing to look forward to doing something in the day that is rather simple to do, takes little supplies and just let go of stress clearing your mind. Thanks for asking.

That’s a really helpful account of its benefits for you. Sounds like it does so much. Thank you for sharing. Really appreciate it.

    So What is it?

This photo states it is  a phone photo, but there is a small phone at the top of the bigger item. So did this item have anything to do with  phones? One of those machines  workers used to plug the cords into to  send the signal over the correct phone lines when we had the dial phone or prior? Anyone have an idea? Interesting item and pretty red color. If you know please let the rest of us in on it.
