From Large Vinyl Records to……”Miniature”
Something smaller that you can take with you and also has a player you can carry along to listen on the go.
Shaped and flat like those records we loved, complete with music tracks like the original.
A “Miniature” sized music powerhouse:
- Expresses feeling and thought I cannot find my own words for.
- Acts like a pain- killer elixir for all my negative conditions.
- Music makes my life “sing.”
“After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.”
― Aldous Huxley, Music at Night and Other Essays
One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.”
― Bob Marley
“Some people have lives; some people have music.”

I love that music is so portable now. However I miss that crackle on record.

I have such great memories of records back in the 80’s. That crackle is a beautiful memory.

How appropo that I’m listening to Warren Zevon while reading this lovely piece about music. I too love that music is more portable these days, but my husband is a new fan of vinyl and collects all kinds of LPs to add to his collection. There are records everywhere in our house these days!

Thanks for commenting. I have gotten rid of record collections and especially regret giving away my music from 70’s- 80’s. Wonderful vinyl has made a comeback. I have downsized and moved so much.

I’m a proponent of downsizing, but for some reason I have never been able to part with my music. I still have all of my cassette tapes. *blushing*

I too love the portability of music but miss the sound of music on records. Music soothes my soul.
