    bare bug facts

If you were to take a quiz would you know the answers to these facts if put into question mode?

    1. One out of four animals is a beetle.
    2. A mosquito’s perfect target: a blond haired child running around in dark clothing and eating a banana.
    3. Dragonflies can fly sixty miles per hour.
    4. There is an average of 50,000 spiders per acre in green areas.

    Love your neighbors.

5.There are 4,300 known species of ladybugs in the world.

6.The walking stick is the longest insect.

7.A fly can react to something it sees and change direction in 30 milliseconds.

    The one that got away.

8.The average airspeed of the common housefly is 4 1/2 mph. A housefly beats its wings about 20,000 times per minute.

9.Cockroaches can live over a week with no head. And if that is not bad enough:

10.A female roach can have 30,000 offspring at a time.

Look on the bright side; I have read that if you consume those roaches you are protected from MRSA.

The meal of my dreams and plenty to share.
