Love Carnivals
If you love carnival rides like me. I would go every week for a while if I could. The amusement parks here are pretty far away.

I sure hope your week has started off wonderful.
This made my day. Thank you, Cee.
I’m glad to have featured you. 😀
That second photo reminds me of the song “I Can Sing A Rainbow!”
That is cool, joseph elon lillie. Thanks for commenting.
I thought I thanked you from my widget, but not showing on my whole site, so thank you again if it did not take. Ignore if you got the last one. I appreciate you and your blog so much.
I took this photo from behind a window screen, hence we have a metal effect……..https://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_photo_challenge/monochromatic/
This is for Cee’s Fun Foto challenge this week at: http://ceenphotography.com/2015/02/03/cees-fun-foto-challenge-my-favorite-things-verse-three/.
Clever. I like your entry.
Thank you for the compliment.
How pretty!
Thank you.
My favorite is ‘Spring’ . Really beautiful!
Very creative and a wonderful interpretation of this theme!
Oh wow, what else can be said about this great art project I found while searching the web for my -month of posts- daily post subject today. This is a group on fb which provides a theme every day. I cannot always fit them in, but try to at least get one for the month at least once a week. This month the theme was books. Today it is something to do with color. So I found this inspiring site: http://suzyssitcom.com/2012/08/creating-colorful-bookcovers-with-astrobrights-paper.html
As if I need another great craft site? But it really does look like a neat site. And I do think these are the best book covers ever. Check them out with directions on the how to. There is other great stuff on there if this is not your mood or need at the moment. I hope to try this this weekend.
Want to be apart of the group and post there: https://www.facebook.com/groups/amonthof/?bookmark_t=group
Your SO like me!! Even though you are *ART* and I’m *Recovery*, when I come across helpful sites, I love to share them with others in recovery! I do LUV those book covers!! Just Fabulous Colors! Have a great Day!! Catherine 🙂
ThaT is really cool:)
Thanks. I am hoping I can keep positive with this while making it. Tedious crafting is not my forte, but I want to make it as a gift.
Such a sweet comment. I am so thankful to have you and your encouragement on here.
Those are pretty cool and just in time for a new school year too,
And I have not got to them yet. I am kind of in a quandary with this. I wanted to make them for my daughter’s birthday in October, but do not know what books and sizes she will need for school. I will probably have to wait and then have to push it to get it done. Thanks for the comment.
Yes and thanks.
Do not know which jelly fish this is ,but am thinking it is a very poisonous one -Not too much unlike all those pretty colorful South American frogs you want to take home until you touch them with bare hands.
That is a magnificent photo!
Thank you so much for the comment.
Wow, I love the texture and color of this photo. Did you take it?
No, I did not take it. I would have liked to. It was so outstanding on FB tagged to me, I wanted to share it.

There’s a historic carousel here, but honestly not a whole lot else (except when the yearly Canadian Lakehead Exhibition shows up, but those rides aren’t the greatest either).

Spokane Washington has an old carousel leftover from the world fair way back in history like that. I miss the Washington State Fairs where I am from.

Yes! Love a good carnival. And cotton candy!
blueribbonfair 10:22 pm on March 12, 2018 Permalink |
Oh my yes cotton candy. I have slowed down on that with age compared to the whole time eating it as a kid at the fair. Still so good and special.

Much has changed with amusement parks.

Everything changes some for the good others mess with us.

Agree. We still have lots of battles with dangerous rides and ever-changing vending methods. Nice post.
