“I’m Late.”
As a kid, My mom had a plaque on our kitchen wall with the quote: ” The hurrier I go the behinder I get.” Now I understand exactly what it means.

A “white rabbit” costume would be a perfect costume for me most years because even though I may make it on time, the pressure is always on in my mind screaming, “I’m Late. I’m Late!”

Alice in Wonderland was my favorite bedtime story. Funny how your mother was ahead of her time with keeping one of the quotes on her wall 😉

Yes, was a very rustic plaque. Wish I still had it. She probably sold it in one of our yearly yard sales. Thanks for commenting.

That quote on on your mom´s kitchen is so true… I guess when we are in a rush everything gets messy, because of our own “speed”… So we´d better slow it down! 🙂 Wishing you the best. Aquileana 😀

Dear friend,
when reading Alice. The rabbit is talking but Alice is not surprised. She was surprised when the rabbit is looking at his clock. Great pun by Carroll….and maybe the best lines of the book.
Hugs by Rinaldo.
Ciao.
