Love Carnivals
If you love carnival rides like me. I would go every week for a while if I could. The amusement parks here are pretty far away.

Colourful Monday afternoon walk. 🙂
The foto challenge for the week is pick a color. So many of my pictures are not focused on one color. I like her challenges since I have learned I need to spread out and focus on black and white, sepia and 1 color pictures. Now I did find out on paint you can make pictures turn into some of these, but still want to do it from scratch. Any way, I really like color mixtures, but I did find this from a car show we attended in September on vacation.
Sweet truck! I love the color too!! Thanks so much for submitting it! I’m glad my challenges stretch your eye and skills a little bit. How cool!
As always Cee, you are welcome. I do love what I am learning.
Tweed and velvet pinafore. I love this cute dress.
I really appreciate when someone likes my posts.
Ivory soap -with kids-puffs like cotton in microwave-delicate and falls apart if touched.
Thanks for liking this post.
A couple days ago , I posted really nice DIY advent countdown calendars, but they needed things I did not have or were just too involved for my schedule. I finally settled on
I love the stick one so simple. For one of my boys. The other for one of the girls. I will probably have to vary these slightly to work them with the stuff I have. I found these 2 ideas at: http://www.tipjunkie.com/holiday-crafts/christmas/best-advent-calendar/
That takes care of 2 children.
Over at http://brightandblithe.wordpress.com/2009/12/15/tea-tree-advent-calendar/ I found this cute idea.
The final one is just one I came up with that is a photo idea I bought the background for and never have gotten done. Will label 25 photos thrown in boxes and have a daughter or son do one a day.
Thanks so much for all the likes.

There’s a historic carousel here, but honestly not a whole lot else (except when the yearly Canadian Lakehead Exhibition shows up, but those rides aren’t the greatest either).

Spokane Washington has an old carousel leftover from the world fair way back in history like that. I miss the Washington State Fairs where I am from.

Yes! Love a good carnival. And cotton candy!

Oh my yes cotton candy. I have slowed down on that with age compared to the whole time eating it as a kid at the fair. Still so good and special.

Agree. We still have lots of battles with dangerous rides and ever-changing vending methods. Nice post.

These are indeed oh-so-fun rides that kids and adults share happily 🙂
