    Murder in Missouri

    Warning: Graphic Crime Stories

Since I live in Missouri I have somewhat been following this case:

    murdered missouri savannah teenager

Savannah 16 Year Old Murdered by Mom and Boyfriend may have had a part in it.  Below Mom Killer: Rebecca Ruud:

missouri murder mom Rebecca Rudd killed daughter

Facts: This kid was given up for adoption by Ruud. Her adoptive parents as far as I could find were great parents. But for some reason, she went to live with her biological mother about a year ago.

Savannah seems to have been abused while living with her mom prior to her death. (She was forced to crawl through pig pen tunnels if I read it correctly as being one thing.)

She was reported missing on July 20. Two days prior the mother reported a fire on her property. When the fireman arrived it was not the house burning, but merely an outside fire unlike she led everyone to believe.

I believe she was trying to cover the killing of her daughter with the fire. But with everything, it looked so suspicious they got a search warrant.  They found burned bones in leaves and came back 5 days later with a search warrant for the home this time. When they found a bunch of stuff like lime and more to get rid of a body. It was looking bad for evidence.

What was really foolish to throw suspicion on her and her boyfriend was that they got married on the same day Savannah’s body was found. (Funny that being married stops you from having to testify against the other.) This may be why they are now focusing on the boyfriend/husband now.

So the mother has been arrested and we will se what happens with her “loving other 1/2” soon.

Of course she is playing the grieving victim now.

Mom (and I use the term Mom loosely)looks like a meth abuser. It’s such a terrible addiction and it’s so sad the way it takes over a person and changes them.Truely the walking dead. I’ve no doubt she’s as guilty as the sun setting every day.

I read about this story, seems funny and weird and sad. It is indeed the mother who killed her. Just cannot understand why a mother would kill her most beloved. What a world we live in. I hope justice will dumped both in jails until they rot to hell. Very heartbreaking story. Rest in Peace Angel!

It is so unreal that people can end up so hateful and evil. Thanks for reading and your comment.

If I’m reading this right, because the crime was committed by them prior to the marriage, there is no spousal privilege. And had they been married at the time they committed the murder together, sometimes it’s possible to waive the privilege if you want to testify in your own defense. Just evil people.

True, I have heard about the waive sometimes. I read they did this to escape telling on each other, while reading on another site and it stuck in my head; You are probably correct.

    Beautiful Rocky Falls

We took a small weekend trip to a spot in my state I have wanted to visit for awhile and never got to do:

    rocky falls missouri swimming area

The water was so glassy clear you could see the small fish below your feet. nice swimming experience. We swam out to the Falls and let the water stream over us. This is about 15 miles approximately from Eminence Missouri. Beautiful small western and ghost type town.

    Yes, "Qualms" in View

“Qualm” Daily Prompt of the day on WordPress…..

Yes, even though I tried not to I started having “qualms” when it rained like Noah’s Flood was on the way and especially when I looked up the weather channel to find when it was going to let up; I was starting to have some trepidation. My “qualms” about that evening became, even more, pronounce when I saw the warning in red that there was a flash flood watch in effect and you might want to evacuate to high ground in the city

Water by my steps  2 days after the flood.

No that is not a pond or lake with a boat dock to the left by the water.  This was a parking lot right in the middle of the floodplain.

My daughter was out of school for a week and one of my sons did not work for a week while they fixed the damage. So thankful that I was slightly higher up and on the other side of town. One of my son’s girlfriend’s parents lost almost everything. My daughter’s college a few years back was flooded so much that students climbed on the roof and had to be rescued. I used to look at images of Missouri flooding and tornadoes, wondering who would live in such a place; my home state is Washington. So here I am in the area that this is far more likely to happen in? At least I have bragging rights to having survived and lost nothing in the worst flood where I am at.

    “Rare” Weekend

I “rarely” have time or money for vacations. But around July 4th this year, we took a weekend trip to Excelsior Springs in our state which is about 6 hours away up North. About 30 Minutes from Kansas City. My daughter is going to school there. So for   Word Press Weekly Photo Challenge, here is share of a cute little restaurant we ate at more than once since we were really impressed the 1st time:

I guess this was a couple days ago. It still rocks though. I keep thinking “Daily Post Prompt” is= to Weekly Post Prompt or “Weekly Writing Challenge. So laugh with me. I think it stems from hangover of “Weekly Photo Challenge” Thanks @Busy Mind thinking.
