To get my whole mod- retro outfit I wore to a party in March, on my film, I had to “twist” the clothing around somewhat. My field of capture is not very big on my camera. Adding this post to:

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge 2 Fit with My Monday Mood-ANIMALS-Chickens

Our pretty “Little Black Hen.” had her 3rd large hatch of chicks last week. We were also given 2 chicks old enough to leave their mom which stick together like glue and give me lots of laughs. So this week for the challenge; I am sharing my little chicken  farm.

Mama hen with a couple of her ten peepiing from underneath. It Very hard to get close to them and get a picture since she gathers them up so quickly.

Our Duck. She started out on a farm with this chicken so I think he gets annoyed with her banter, but he endures. His name is Chocolate Her name Sack.

Why do I let him destroy me?!!!! Foto 4 Friday

How I feel. I was slightly depressed already. I am trying to earn money so I can get out if it comes to this again. I am in the business of setting up 3 places I am selling on. 1/2 of it is to sell stuff I have too much of and do not want to have to relocate and have all this baggage. Clutter, though worth something. I was telling my daughter on the phone how much work it is getting going business wise and he comes in and says “Have you sold anything?”. Laughed and mocked. Added as an attachment to this,”I rest my case!” I know I am the better person and though he is strong and big: I am the jewel and he is a loser., So why does he make my mind and emotions tear up? He is a braying churlish ,boorish Jack ass!

I tried to find a photo challenge I participate in to get “Two birds with one stone here”, but none fit. did it anyway and feel a lot better for it.

I did for years. I finally discovered it was verbal and mental abuse. Now I know it, but since I internalized and believed the way he treated me for so long, even if I try to repel it and really do not believe it anymore, extreme anxiety and depression slam into me like a bomb.

    Pinterest FaIL-Sort of

AT Easter time I mentioned in a post that my kids and I did eggshell geodes. I posted a picture from Martha Stewart with how they are supposed to turn out.

-I now know I am not Martha. Have you ever seen the blog called something like that? I may have seen more than 1 of them. It is too bad such names are already taken. Anyway, they still are pretty, but not at all like the picture from her site. The colors are cheery and my mind is spinning with upcycle ideas to use them for, but on this depressive Monday here are the results prior to doing something else with them.

They are pretty shells as you can see. This is all of them as a collection.

I think there is a link on my former post in April on this under Holidays, if you want to see what we tried. Maybe you would have better luck

That is so beautiful! Love the creative idea!

This reminds me of a time I saw Martha on a show, and someone in the audience was like “I’ve tried what you are demonstrating and it really doesn’t look like yours” Martha’s response to that comment could not have been more condescending it was one of those moments where you really felt for the woman in the audience who probably will never buy a Martha branded thing again.

That is crazy. I know people like that. They take it as criticism against them when the person was just stating a fact. That is ridiculous. Makes me never want to support her either again. I got the idea from pinterest. I pin and never know where it comes from until I go to do it sometime. I do not do much from her like I used to since I do not have time. Just if it is a pin on Pinterest that leads me there. Thanks for the comment.

This reminded me of an episode with melted wax crayons, not at all easy to do 🙂

We tried the melted was crayons on pumpkins a few years back and all it did was clock up the hot glue gun. Wishing you the best as you do your music stuff.

Mother's Day theme – Focus on DIY cards.

If you read my post from yesterday; I had yet to get my Mother’s day stuff ready.  Well, am rejoicing because what I finally decided to go with is in the mailbox as we speak.

I love cards since they are less expensive to mail then larger packages. And it is easy to add a gift card to the inside for the price you could have spent on shipping.

I have been doing home done cards for many holidays and occasions for quite some time.  And this is a quick tutorial of the ones I did today:

    Supplies plus toothpick.

card stock light green cut after folding in 1/2 lengthwise into 2 sections then folded into a card. (makes an odd size kind of, but is also stand out from norm. done this way. Plus save on paper which some may not need, but I am frugal that way!

white paint with tooth pick dipped in it and pressed`on diagonal at top of green stems

Using other end of the q tip, add blowing dandelion seeds as dots.

I wrote happy mother’s day on the inside and signed.

For the envelope I am using beautiful art work my sign did in art last year. ( I take pictures so that a digital record is kept. This is a great way to use up art that is hard to store and keep.

Cut and wrap like flat presents. Add gift cards to cards first. lol. Address labels and postage. Takes 2 stamps to be safe. Weight is about 2 oz. MAIL......Fun and satisfaction....

I mail cards with envelopes like this a lot and it is no problem as long as you have the correct or above postage. Wait for smiles…..

Found this idea here and yes I like to do art projects geared towards kids that is simple and not to involved and time consuming; I am always running late. Thanks for viewing and let me know what you think or if this inspires you.  More ideas here:
